About Design Dental Design Dental is a full-service dental lab focused on providing high-quality digital dental solutions to dental practices and their patients. Our team combines advanced technology, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality to produce exceptional dental restorations and appliances. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented team member to join our Print & Mill Room and help keep our digital manufacturing processes running efficiently. Position Overview The Print & Mill Room Technician is responsible for the day-to-day operation, organization, maintenance, and cleanliness of the print and mill room. This position plays an important role in keeping cases on schedule and ensuring materials, equipment, and workspaces are properly maintained. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working with technology and equipment, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Duties & Responsibilities Nesting & Material Selection:
Responsible for nesting all parts assigned for printing, ensuring each part is nested correctly and that the appropriate material is selected for each job.
Pre-Cure Procedures:
Follow all required pre-cure procedures, including proper cleaning, prior to each print cycle.
Mill Cleaning & Maintenance:
Clean and maintain milling units, including cleaning vacuums and interior milling compartments.
Print Schedule Management:
Monitor print schedules and ensure assigned prints remain on schedule and do not fall behind.
Print Equipment Maintenance:
Maintain print room equipment, including removing and cleaning printer cassettes according to manufacturer instructions and completing other required equipment maintenance.
Mill Equipment Maintenance:
Ensure routine manufacturing maintenance is performed on all milling equipment.
Inventory Management:
Maintain adequate print and mill room inventory to prevent material shortages and manufacturing delays.
Print Room Cleanliness:
Keep all areas of the print room clean, organized, and doctor-ready at all times. Qualifications Previous experience in a dental laboratory, dental office, digital dentistry, or manufacturing environment preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed procedures Comfortable working with computers, digital technology, and specialized equipment Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and maintain production schedules Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to the small details, and understands the importance of keeping production moving. This is a hands-on position that requires someone who is comfortable learning new technology, maintaining equipment, staying organized, and taking ownership of their responsibilities. $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
