The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machines to bend, shape, and fabricate metal components according to precise specifications. This role requires experience interpreting fabrication drawings, operating machinery safely, and producing high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Set up and operate press brake machinery to fabricate metal components according to job specifications and blueprints. Interpret engineering drawings, work orders, and specifications to determine machine settings and production requirements. Select and install the appropriate tooling and dies for each job. Perform machine adjustments to ensure proper bending angles, tolerances, and dimensions. Inspect completed workpieces using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication, and report mechanical issues as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals and quality standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. 1 to 3 years of experience operating a press brake in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions. Experience using precision measuring tools and performing basic mathematical calculations. Knowledge of sheet metal, steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and their bending properties. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods throughout the shift. Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed. Pay Rate:
