Aerotek is hiring Machine Operators in Sussex County, DE. This is a day shift position offering weekly pay!

Day Shift:

7AM-3:30

PM Pay:

$20.00/hour Job Description We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Machine Operator to join our team. This role will primarily operate a press brakes & CNC machines, with the opportunity to be cross-trained on a variety of other production equipment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities Operate and monitor press brakes & CNC machines to cut materials to precise specifications. Set up machines, adjust controls, and ensure proper machine operation. Read and interpret job orders, blueprints, or work instructions. Perform basic troubleshooting and minor maintenance on machines. Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Assist with operating other production equipment as part of cross-training. Follow all company safety procedures and production guidelines. Essential Skills Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving ability. Basic math skills (measurements, conversions, tolerances). Ability to read and understand production or machine instructions. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior experience operating industrial or manufacturing equipment preferred. Experience with press brakes, sheet metal, or CNC equipment is a plus, but not required.
