Duties:

Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and fabricate metal components according to blueprints and specifications.
Select appropriate tooling and dies for each job.
Perform quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure parts meet specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints to determine proper dimensions and tolerances.
Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to achieve desired results.
Monitor machine operation to detect any issues or malfunctions.
Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment.
Assemble fabricated parts using hand tools.

Qualifications:

Previous experience operating press brake machines is required.
3D CAD design software e.g., SolidWorks and Autodesk Inventor experience preferred
Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings.
Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
Good communications skills, the ability to follow directions.
Experience operating various hand operated power tools preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections.
Knowledge of tooling selection for different bending operations.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Proficient math & measuring skills required
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
Forklift experience preferred and must have the ability to lift 50 lbs.
Note:
Crane operation experience is a plus but not required.
