Job Description
Press Brake Operator-Full-time CNC Operator for plasma table & press brake. 3D CAD design software e.g., SolidWorks and Autodesk Inventor experience preferred. Forklift experience preferred and must have the ability to lift 50 lbs. Proficient math & measuring skills required. Good communications skills, the ability to follow directions, and experience following fab-shop safety rules while operating various hand operated power tools.
Duties:
- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and fabricate metal components according to blueprints and specifications.
- Select appropriate tooling and dies for each job.
- Perform quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine proper dimensions and tolerances.
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to achieve desired results.
- Monitor machine operation to detect any issues or malfunctions.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment.
- Assemble fabricated parts using hand tools.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating press brake machines is required.
- 3D CAD design software e.g., SolidWorks and Autodesk Inventor experience preferred
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
- Good communications skills, the ability to follow directions.
- Experience operating various hand operated power tools preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections.
- Knowledge of tooling selection for different bending operations.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient math & measuring skills required
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
- Forklift experience preferred and must have the ability to lift 50 lbs.
Note:
Crane operation experience is a plus but not required.- We are willing to provide on the job training to the right person for any of the above-listed skills.

$20.00- $25.
