Second Shift, 4x10s: Mon-Thurs 2:30pm-1:00am (Fri)

• potential/pending Position Overview MTW Industries is seeking an experienced, highly skilled, and hard-working Press Brake Operator.

A self-starting individual with excellent attendance, attention to detail, and determination to succeed is essential to accomplish the production needs of our fast-paced, high-demand, industrial facility. At MTW, products are primarily manufactured from steel, and occasionally other metals, in our typically temperature-controlled facility. These items may be stand-alone products or used to produce multiple assemblies and structures. Press Brake Operators at MTW are responsible for the precise alignment and operation of the press brake machine to bend, punch, form, and/or otherwise manipulate metal materials. Attention to detail and creative problem solving is necessary as MTW requires all operators to work to exact design specifications and deadlines. Following written and/or verbal instructions is key. Press Brake Operators must be able to read drawings, lift/maneuver heavy materials, and utilize math skills accurately. Key Position Responsibilities

• Press brake machine set-up and proper material alignment
• Comprehensive press brake operation duties to process materials necessary to fulfill customer orders
• Processing of metal materials to create products to exact design standards
• Upkeep, troubleshooting, and general maintenance of the press brake machine
• Material handling/lifting/maneuvering of metal materials
• Ability to aid in other shop duties as needed
• Maintain clean and safe workstation(s) Qualifications
• Industrial Press Brake experience required (manual and CNC controls)
• Excellent attention to detail, math skills, and ability to read drawings/prints
• Excellent attendance, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
• Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug test (includes marijuana) and physical
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Aptitude for good judgement and rational thought
• Good verbal and written communications skills
• Operation of safety equipment and knowledge/utilization of safe work habits
• Strong desire for continued growth and learning (training opportunities occur) Ability to:
• Lift minimum of 50-75 lbs, repetitively
• Bend, stoop, lift, squat, twist while maneuvering materials
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes (MTW will provide training if needed)
• Read and accurately use a tape measure, rule, and square
• Follow directions, work instructions and schedules
• Troubleshoot fit, quality, or other potential concerns Full-Time Position Includes
• Minimum 40 hours per week, overtime as needed

The customers we serve predominately come from the following industries: agriculture, commercial construction, excavating, forestry, gas/oil, and mining. In 2021, after 12 years in our Mt. Pleasant facility, all operations were relocated to the newly refurbished, often temperature-controlled facility in Clare, MI.
