Job Description

Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise in metal fabrication and machine operation will contribute directly to the production of high-quality products that meet strict safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Set up and operate press brake machines to bend sheet metal according to technical drawings and specifications Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing instructions accurately Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring tools to ensure parts meet quality standards Adjust machine settings for optimal performance and precision during production runs Conduct routine inspections of finished parts for measurement accuracy and quality compliance Maintain a clean, safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and proper machine handling procedures Collaborate with team members on tooling setup, fabrication processes, and troubleshooting machine issues Qualifications Proven experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints Skilled in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments for quality control Familiarity with CNC programming, CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, or CNC milling machines is a plus Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocols Ability to perform shop math accurately and efficiently for measurement calculations Basic understanding of welding, forming machines, sheet metal fabrication, and tooling setup is desirable Excellent attention to detail with a focus on precision measurement and quality inspection

Pay:
$21.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
