1st Shift and 2nd Shift Job Summary World Trade Printing is an established commercial printing, label, and packaging manufacturer seeking an experienced Folder / Gluer Operator for our La Mirada production facility. We are looking for an experienced operator who can set up, run, troubleshoot, and maintain folder/gluer equipment with minimal supervision . Candidates must have previous hands-on experience operating BOBST, Brausse, Moll, or similar folder/gluer equipment used for folding cartons and packaging. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operator looking for stable, full-time, long-term employment with a growing company. Responsibilities Perform complete machine setups and make-readies Set up and operate folder/gluer equipment for a variety of folding-carton jobs Adjust feeders, belts, folding sections, glue systems, compression sections, and related components Run jobs according to customer specifications and job tickets Inspect finished cartons and maintain high quality standards throughout each production run Make machine adjustments to improve quality, speed, and efficiency Troubleshoot mechanical and production issues Perform minor machine repairs and adjustments when necessary Monitor machine performance and maintain production records Complete maintenance logs and assist with preventative maintenance Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Follow all company safety and quality procedures Learn additional equipment and assist in other production departments when needed Work overtime and occasional weekends when production schedules require it Required Experience & Qualifications Minimum 2-3 years of Folder / Gluer operating experience Experience operating BOBST, Brausse, Moll, or similar equipment Experience with folding cartons and packaging production Ability to independently set up and run folder/gluer equipment Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Knowledge of carton styles, folds, glue patterns, and packaging requirements Ability to read and understand job tickets, layouts, samples, and specifications Basic math and measurement skills, including reading a tape measure to 1/16" Strong attention to detail and quality Good communication and organizational skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
