As our Roll-Forming Equipment Setup Specialist, you'll own the setup, operation, and quality of a continuous roll-forming process that turns coils into perfectly formed components. Your Day, Start to Finish Pre-shift readiness: Review the job packet and blueprints, verify tooling and material, and complete safety checks. Setup & first-article: Configure roll sets, guides, and entry/exit tooling; run a first piece and validate dimensions with calipers and a tape measure.

Steady production:

Monitor machine geometry, line speed, and part quality; make micro-adjustments to maintain efficiency and accuracy. Troubleshoot & maintain: Perform routine maintenance and address issues proactively to keep the machine at peak performance.

Quality assurance:

Inspect finished parts against specifications and document results for full traceability.

Collaboration:

Coordinate with teammates to hit production goals and communicate issues to supervisors promptly.

Closeout:

Capture production data, complete housekeeping, and prepare a smooth handoff for the next run. What You'll Handle Set up and operate roll forming machines to meet specification requirements. Continually monitor processes; adjust for quality and throughput. Perform routine maintenance and on-the-spot troubleshooting. Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with prints and standards. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area while following all safety protocols. Document production metrics and escalate issues to supervision when needed. What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent; technical manufacturing training is a plus. Background as a Roll Form Operator or similar machine operator preferred.

Required:

Hands-on experience using calipers and a tape measure. Mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving ability. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Sharp attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work. Comfort working independently and within a team environment. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing.

Visual and Hearing:

Able to see with corrective eyewear and hear clearly with assistance while wearing hearing protection.
