We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Finishing Manager to lead our finishing department. In this role, you will oversee the completion of manufacturing processes, ensuring high-quality standards are met while maintaining efficient workflows. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement, safety, and precision in finishing operations to deliver top-tier products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily finishing operations and ensure all employees are effectively following procedures Provide guidance and feedback to employees regarding their performance, attendance, demeanor, and expectations Investigate quality concerns and complete non-conformance reports including root cause analysis, and corrective/preventative actions Manage timekeeping records, establish shift schedules and communicate them to employees Review and approve employee vacation requests Ensure all finishing equipment is properly maintained, and troubleshooted Issue purchase orders for parts and maintenance of equipment when required Collaborate with other departments on projects to ensure seamless workflow and quality products Work with customer service and sales departments on orders and specific customer requirements Train new employees and ensure all employees have up-to-date training and certifications Maintain Health and Safety requirements within the department Perform other duties as required Demonstrate a deliberate focus on Safety, Quality, Continuous Improvement, and Customer Satisfaction Qualifications/Skills Required Previous managerial experience in manufacturing, preferably in folding carton production Proficient understanding of manufacturing practices, including ISO standards Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Solid knowledge of finishing processes and equipment Ability to effectively organize and delegate tasks to employees Skilled in multitasking and prioritizing in fast-paced environments Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team Must be eligible to work in the United States without restriction Physical Requirements Be able to lift objects weighing 30-50 pounds safely and effectively, with the capability to lift more if required Stand for extended periods Maintain good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Sustain physical endurance for a fast-paced work environment Operate and work near machinery safely About Us Max Solutions, Inc. provides value added solutions for customers in the healthcare and consumer industries using the latest in technology and equipment.
