In this on-site role, you will set up and operate turret punch equipment to produce precision parts for critical industries including power generation and transportation. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, performing setups and changeovers, inspecting parts, and maintaining accurate production records. Responsibilities Set up and operate turret punch presses to produce precision parts to specifications Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production drawings Perform routine machine changeovers, tooling setup, and quality checks Inspect finished parts using measuring tools and document results Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and communicate maintenance needs Follow safety, 5 S, and lean manufacturing practices on the shop floor Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to meet schedules Maintain accurate production records and material usage logs Support cross-training and utility tasks across related fabrication equipment Participate in continuous improvement and process optimization activities Required Skills Turret punch press operation CNC machine setup Blueprint reading Sheet metal fabrication Quality inspection and measurement Basic machine troubleshooting Production documentation Lean manufacturing/5 S familiarity Material handling Basic mechanical aptitude
