Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dry Offset Cup Printing Machine Operator & Ink Mixer to join our team on the first shift. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining dry offset printing machines used for cup decoration, ensuring high-quality print results. Additionally, you will prepare and mix inks with precision to meet color specifications, supporting the production process from start to finish. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the creation of vibrant, eye-catching printed products. Responsibilities Operate dry offset cup printing machines efficiently, monitoring print quality and machine performance throughout production runs. Adjust machine settings and perform mechanical troubleshooting to optimize print output and minimize downtime. Prepare, measure, and mix inks accurately according to color management standards and production specifications. Interpret production documents and technical instructions to ensure precise color matching and print registration. Conduct routine maintenance, cleaning, and calibration of printing equipment to maintain optimal operation. Collaborate with prepress teams to ensure proper layout design, typography, and graphic alignment before printing. Maintain detailed records of production runs, ink formulations, machine adjustments, and quality control checks. Requirements Proven experience operating large-format printers or similar industrial printing equipment in a manufacturing setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and adjust machinery as needed. Familiarity with color management principles, graphic design software (such as Adobe Creative Suite), and prepress software for layout and image preparation. Knowledge of print advertising standards, typography, cutting, paper binding, and paper handling processes. Ability to interpret complex production documents and technical specifications accurately. Basic understanding of digital printing technologies, flexo presses, screen printing, and machining techniques is preferred.
