Duties Operate a range of printing machinery such as large-format printers, flexo presses, and digital printers to produce high-quality printed materials. Adjust industrial equipment settings and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance. Interpret production documents accurately to set up print jobs according to specifications. Manage color calibration and color management techniques to achieve consistent, vibrant results across various print projects. Execute prepress tasks using software like Adobe Creative Suite and prepress software to prepare files for printing. Conduct quality control inspections throughout the production process, ensuring prints meet color accuracy, typography standards, and layout design specifications. Perform cutting, paper binding, and finishing processes such as trimming or mounting to complete finished products. Troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly and collaborate with maintenance teams for repairs or adjustments. Maintain detailed records of production runs, machine maintenance logs, and quality control reports. Qualifications Proven experience operating printing machinery including large-format printers, flexo presses, or digital printers in a manufacturing setting. Strong knowledge of color management techniques and graphic design principles. Proficiency with graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and prepress software tools. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to adjust industrial equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks. Familiarity with print advertising standards, typography, layout design, and screen printing processes. Ability to interpret complex production documents accurately and follow detailed instructions precisely. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control throughout the printing process. Strong problem-solving skills combined with technical proficiency in machining and press operation.
