MCC seeks a skilled Press Operator to support its relief and peacebuilding mission by safely operating and maintaining printing/press equipment that produces high-quality materials for programs, donors, and partners. Responsibilities include machine setup, calibration, and operation; monitoring print quality; performing routine maintenance; and troubleshooting minor mechanical issues. The Press Operator will manage materials, follow strict safety and stewardship practices, and collaborate with a diverse, faith-driven team to meet production timelines that support global MCC communications and resource needs. Responsibilities Set up, calibrate, and operate press equipment to meet production specifications and deadlines Monitor print quality and make adjustments to ensure consistent, accurate output Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance on press machinery Follow OSHA and MCC safety standards, including proper PPE and lockout/tagout procedures Load, unload, and manage paper and other materials to minimize waste and support stewardship values Document production runs, quality checks, and maintenance activity Collaborate with supervisors, designers, and colleagues to prioritize jobs and resolve production issues Support MCC's mission by producing materials that serve programs, donors, and partner communications Required Skills Press operation Machine setup and calibration Print quality inspection Mechanical troubleshooting Basic machine maintenance Safety procedures and PPE use Production scheduling and prioritization Material handling Measurement and documentation Basic computer skills
