Overview The Seat Assembler is responsible for assembling vehicle seats and related components according to production specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. This position requires attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Skills and Experience Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assemble vehicle seats and seat components using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment. Install cushions, covers, frames, brackets, wiring, and other seat components. Follow work instructions, production drawings, and established assembly procedures. Inspect completed seats for proper fit, function, appearance, and quality. Identify and report defective materials or assembly issues. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Meet production goals while maintaining quality standards. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Properly use and maintain tools and equipment. Work cooperatively with team members, supervisors, and quality personnel. Perform other production duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous manufacturing, assembly, or production experience preferred. Ability to use basic hand and power tools. Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. Ability to lift and move materials as required. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Working Conditions Fast-paced manufacturing environment. Frequent standing, bending, reaching, and repetitive movements. May require lifting, pushing, and pulling materials and assembled components. Must follow required personal protective equipment (PPE) and workplace safety procedures.
