Scribe parts using a sharp blade, Repair parts as necessary, by using Mylar tape AC828 maskant repair and line sealing scribe lines. Conduct the strip spark test on the part and protect tool holes. Differentiate from clad material from bare material. Verify and check maskant adhesion. Load scribed part on to transportation cart in a safe and secure manner to avoid bodily injury and damage to part. Maintain proper housekeeping. Repair and protect parts. Read and understand work order instructions. Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area. Performs other duties as assigned including leading projects and participation in project committees. Required Skills and Qualifications Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, such as work orders and instructions, chemical usage order form and timecards. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate among all levels within the organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Must be able to comply with specific safety policies. Read and understand internal procedures and policies. Understand and follow through on both verbal and written instructions. Team oriented with a continuous improvement outlook.
