CellarPro, a US leader in wine cellar cooling systems based in Petaluma, is hiring an assembler for its manufacturing line. This entry-level position focuses on assembling sub-assemblies for our cooling units. We expect a high level of ability to work with your hands. There is room to grow within the manufacturing team we have. Preference will be given to assemblers with manufacturing experience and a history and comfort with working with their hands and hand tools. Additionally, a focused work history with longer tenure with established companies will be viewed favorably. An upbeat attitude, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency and purpose in your efforts will go a long way. We make systems for wine storage, cooling and dispensing used commercially and in residences. We employ a Lean Manufacturing approach that relies heavily on employees to be self-empowered to eliminate waste in their day-to-day work. Being open to the Lean way of thought is a must. There is room for growth and an increased salary with additional responsibility. This is a full-time position - start time is 6:30 am. Passing a drug test and solid references are necessary. Wage will vary widely with experience, but the minimum is $22/hr to $24/hr and increases from there depending on your experience and capability. Strong preference will be given for relevant experience. More skills brought to the table will increase the hourly rate. Ability to lift 60 lbs. is required.
