Job Summary Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Machine Operator Assembly Line Worker! In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machinery used in the assembly and fabrication of metal and sheet metal products. Your expertise will ensure that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely while adhering to quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced equipment and contribute to high-quality manufacturing processes in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Operate a variety of manufacturing machinery including CNC laser cutters, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, press brake machines, plasma cutters, electrical discharge machines, and forming machines to produce precision components. Set up and calibrate machinery according to technical specifications and blueprints, ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance. Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and shop math to accurately assemble parts and components. Perform quality inspections using precision measurement instruments and measuring tools to verify dimensions and adherence to specifications. Maintain safety standards by following strict safety protocols during machine operation, tooling setup, and material handling. Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to prevent downtime and troubleshoot issues promptly for continuous production flow. Collaborate with team members on assembly processes, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality output while adhering to safety guidelines. Qualifications Proven experience operating manufacturing machinery such as CNC laser cutting systems, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, plasma cutters, or similar equipment in a production environment. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and mechanical blueprints accurately. Skilled in using measuring instruments for quality control and precision measurement in machining processes. Familiarity with safety standards in manufacturing environments and the ability to follow safety protocols diligently. Basic math skills including shop math necessary for machine setup and measurement calculations. Ability to work effectively on the assembly line with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Certification or experience with forklift operation is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
