Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Assembler specializing in plastic furniture to join our dynamic production team. Responsibilities Assemble plastic furniture components using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical assembly techniques in accordance with technical drawings and production specifications. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts safely to transport raw materials and finished products within the manufacturing facility. Utilize measuring instruments accurately to verify dimensions and ensure product quality standards are met. Interpret manufacturing documents, including assembly instructions, technical drawings, and process sheets to facilitate efficient production workflows. Conduct manual handling of heavy or bulky parts while adhering to safety protocols to prevent injuries. Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements aligned with lean manufacturing principles. Maintain a clean, organized work environment following safety standards in production and factory safety protocols. Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks, managing workload effectively to meet production targets. Use hand tools and power tools skillfully for mechanical assembly tasks, ensuring durability and precision in final products. Follow safety guidelines rigorously during all phases of assembly and material handling operations. Qualifications Prior factory experience, particularly within manufacturing or assembly environments involving plastic or similar materials. Proficiency with forklift operation and warehouse management practices. Experience using measuring instruments such as calipers, tape measures, or micrometers for quality control purposes. Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to assembly processes and equipment maintenance. Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, production documents, and assembly instructions. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and other mechanical devices safely and effectively. Knowledge of safety standards in production facilities, including proper manual handling techniques. Experience with lean manufacturing practices aimed at reducing waste and optimizing workflow. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently on an assembly line while maintaining high-quality output. Good communication skills for effective teamwork within a manufacturing setting.
