Job Description

Job Summary Job Title:
Fabricator / MIG /
Laser Welder Job Type:
Full-Time Schedule:
8-Hour Shift | Monday to Friday | Day Shift (Home Every Night & Weekend)
Pay:
Based on experience and your ability to work unsupervised Tired of living on the road and working 12-hour turnaround shifts? Most fabrication and welding jobs run you into the ground with 70-80+ hour weeks, out-of-town jobsites, and zero home life. This is not that job. This role is for the skilled fabricator/welder who wants steady, reliable local work, a predictable Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule, and the freedom to actually be home every night and spend weekends with family.
The Real Deal:
The shop is hot, the metal is heavy, and the work is hard physical labor. We expect 8 hours of honest work for 8 hours of pay . We don't have time to hold your hand or stand over your shoulder all day—we need someone who can see what needs to be done, figure it out, and knock it out clean.
What You'll Be Doing:
MIG / Laser welding steel and aluminum assemblies (clean, structural-quality work). Layout, cutting, fitting, tacking, grinding, and metal finishing. Assisting with and operating industrial equipment (fiber lasers, CNC machinery, saws, grinders). Reading shop drawings, cut sheets, and tape measures accurately. Moving, loading, and staging raw stock and finished builds. Working independently, keeping yourself productive, and maintaining a clean, safe shop.
Qualifications:
Solid MIG welding experience and practical metal fabrication knowledge.
Self-starter:
Proven ability to stay on task and work completely unsupervised. Comfortable using grinders, chop saws, plasma/torches, and standard shop hand tools. Strong attention to detail, cut accuracy, and squareness. Reliable transportation, punctuality, and an on-time everyday mindset. Physical stamina to work in the heat and comfortably lift 50+ lbs.
To Apply:
Submit your resume or a summary of your hands-on MIG and fabrication experience here on Indeed.
Pay:
From $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
Work Location:
In person
