Full-time, Monday-Friday About NexGen Steel NexGen Steel is a next-generation manufacturer of cold-formed steel framing systems for residential and commercial buildings. Using advanced roll-forming and prefabrication technology, we deliver precision-engineered wall panels, floor joists, and trusses designed to outperform traditional lumber construction. Position Overview The Assembler is responsible for joining pre-fabricated steel components to create wall and truss panel assemblies. This hands-on role involves using tools such as rivet guns, drills, and impact drivers to assemble frames according to precise specifications. A construction or manufacturing background is helpful but not required — we provide training for dependable individuals with a good attitude and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Assemble pre-fabricated steel stud and truss members using pop rivets, bolts, and other fasteners. Accurately measure, align, and secure components according to blueprints or assembly drawings. Inspect completed assemblies for alignment, accuracy, and quality standards. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workstation. Follow all company safety procedures and production guidelines. Collaborate with teammates and supervisors to meet daily production goals. Qualifications Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately (required). Basic mechanical or construction aptitude preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn. Prior experience in construction, metal fabrication, or manufacturing a plus but not required.
