Full Job Description Warehouse Assembler Location:
Needham, MA Pay:
$20-$25/hr
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, Day Shift Our client is looking for a Warehouse Hose Assembler to join their team. This hands-on position involves assembling and testing hose products while also assisting with general warehouse operations. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to follow specific instructions and measurements.
Responsibilities:
Assemble hydraulic, industrial, and specialty hose products according to work orders and specifications. Measure and cut hose to the required lengths using appropriate equipment. Install fittings, couplings, clamps, and other components using hand tools and crimping equipment. Test completed hose assemblies and inspect products for quality and accuracy. Read and follow work orders, assembly instructions, measurements, and product specifications. Label, package, and prepare finished products for shipment or customer pickup. Assist with receiving, stocking, picking, and shipping materials as needed. Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment when authorized. Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records. Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Assist with identifying products and materials for customers and internal staff when needed. Perform other warehouse and assembly duties as assigned. Qualifications /
Experience:
Previous warehouse, manufacturing, mechanical assembly, or hose assembly experience Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand and power tools. Ability to accurately use a tape measure and other measuring equipment; experience with calipers or gauges is a plus. Experience operating pallet jack and or forklift Ability to read and follow detailed work orders, instructions, and specifications. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Basic computer skills for inventory and order processing. Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain on your feet throughout the workday. #3368ST
