About the Role As a PCB Assembly Technician, you will play a critical role in the production of high-precision electronic devices. You will utilize your technical expertise in soldering and component integration to ensure every assembly meets rigorous quality standards, directly impacting the reliability of our final products. Responsibilities Execute complex assembly of circuit boards and electronic sub-assemblies by following detailed technical schematics. Perform high-precision through-hole and Surface Mount Technology (SMT) soldering to ensure robust electrical connections. Conduct thorough visual and functional inspections to verify that all components meet industry-standard quality benchmarks. Perform necessary rework and troubleshooting on assemblies to maintain high yield rates and minimize waste. Utilize advanced magnification tools and precision hand instruments to manipulate delicate electronic components. Maintain compliance with
IPC-A-610
workmanship standards throughout the entire production cycle. Collaborate with the manufacturing team to optimize assembly workflows and achieve daily output targets. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or GED. Proven experience in electronics manufacturing, specifically with soldering. Demonstrated proficiency in both through-hole and SMT assembly techniques. Exceptional hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills for working with miniature components. Ability to interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical assembly documentation. Preferred Skills Current or previous IPC-A-610 or
J-STD-001
certification. Experience with electronic repair or advanced troubleshooting. Familiarity with lean manufacturing or quality-focused production environments. Basic computer literacy for digital documentation and production tracking.
