3009161321-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Tool Assembler to build, fit, and assemble tools and components used in electrical and lighting product manufacturing. In this role, you will read blueprints and work instructions, operate basic hand and power tools, and ensure all tooling meets quality and safety standards. You will inspect parts, perform minor adjustments or rework, and accurately document production data. Working closely with engineers, machinists, and production teams, you'll support continuous improvement, maintain a clean, organized work area, and follow all EHS procedures in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. Responsibilities Assemble tools, fixtures, and components to specification Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively Inspect parts and assemblies for quality and accuracy Perform basic adjustments, repairs, or rework on tooling Document production data and maintain accurate records Collaborate with engineers and production teams to resolve issues Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow all safety, quality, and EHS procedures Support continuous improvement and productivity initiatives Required Skills Mechanical assembly Blueprint reading Use of hand and power tools Dimensional inspection Basic measurement tools (calipers, micrometers) Quality control and documentation Safety and EHS compliance Basic troubleshooting Reading work instructions and BOMs Lean manufacturing awareness
