Mattress Builder Job Summary:

Pay:

$13.50 per hour

Shifts Available:

1st shift M-F 6am-2:30pm OT may be required Assemble mattress components including foam, fiber, spring units, quilting, and fabric covers. Follow work instructions, blueprints, and production specifications to build finished products. Operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, and manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently. Inspect materials and finished mattresses for quality defects and ensure products meet company standards. Measure, cut, position, and secure materials during the assembly process. Transport materials and finished products throughout the production area as needed. Maintain production quotas while ensuring accuracy and quality. Report equipment malfunctions, material shortages, or quality concerns to supervisors. Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations. Assist in other departments as needed to support production goals. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous manufacturing, assembly, furniture, or mattress production experience preferred but not required. Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Why Peoplelink Staffing?
