The Detailer is responsible for preparing and processing parts to meet quality, production, and scheduling requirements. This position performs a variety of hands-on preparation, finishing, inspection, packaging, and inventory duties while assisting operators and following directions from managers and team leaders. Perform prep work on parts, including sanding, gritting, masking, peening, blending, brazing, tack welding, airflow, FPI, and taping.
Assist machine and production operators as needed.
Use calibrated instruments to perform critical measurements and verify part requirements.
Perform data entry and maintain accurate production and part information.
Package parts, check serial numbers, prepare shipments, and complete inventory counts.
Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Perform additional duties and assignments as directed by managers and team leaders.
