Job Summary Architectural Metal Designs, Inc. is seeking a Panel Builder - Level 1 to join our fabrication team. This is an entry-level position responsible for the fabrication of aluminum composite panels according to project specifications, fabrication manuals, and company quality and safety standards. The Panel Builder - Level 1 will learn and perform basic panel fabrication techniques, including measuring, bending, cutting, and riveting aluminum composite panels and extrusions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Report directly to the Panel Foreman. Fabricate aluminum composite panels according to project specifications and applicable fabrication manuals. Knowledge of tools and equipment used in panel fabrication. Measure, cut, and bend panels accurately according to specifications. Cut extrusions for panels and properly rivet extrusions to panels. Follow the fabrication manual and instructions for each panel system. Inspect panels for dents, scratches, improper cuts, or other defects and report any issues to the Panel Foreman. Follow all panel labeling instructions, including bending degrees and extrusion requirements. Fabricate standard panels, including but not limited to: Box Panels, Outside corner panels, Panel with one or multiple bends and Panels requiring stiffener tubes. Complete required daily paperwork and submit it to the Panel Foreman at the end of each workday. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and clean the workspace daily. Properly use the company time clock in accordance with job-costing procedures. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and applicable OSHA requirements. Follow safety instructions provided by the Panel Foreman and Human Resources. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Ability to use hand tools and measuring tools. Ability to read and follow written instructions and fabrication manuals. Ability to accurately measure, cut, and assemble materials. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Ability to follow all safety procedures and instructions. Physical Abilities Ability to stand and work for extended periods. Ability to use hand tools and fabrication equipment. Ability to frequently bend, reach, grasp, and perform repetitive hand movements. Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver materials as required for the position. Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
