Henrietta, NY Job Details Full-time $20 - $25 an hour 3 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Qualifications Fabrication Welding machines Attention to detail Power tools Hand tools Full Job Description Assembly Technician 1.0 Executive Summary Torion USA is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented entry level assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will support the assembly, fabrication, installation, commissioning, and testing of fusion fuel cycle process piping systems. The position will report to the Torion USA Manufacturing Manager. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, eager to learn, comfortable working with hand and power tools, self-starting and committed to producing high-quality work in a manufacturing environment. Previous experience with welding, pipe fitting, electrical installation, or industrial equipment is beneficial but not required. 2.0 Key Responsibilities Perform automatic orbital welding of process piping systems in accordance with approved design drawings, manufacturing documents, procedures, and quality requirements. Assemble and install piping, instruments and equipment. Install, route, and field dress electrical cables in accordance with electrical drawings and manufacturing documentation. Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, bills of materials, work instructions, and manufacturing documents. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively. Assist with system integration and commissioning activities. Support the operation and troubleshooting of systems during testing and startup. Support the factory acceptance testing (FAT) to verify that completed systems meet design, performance, and customer specifications. Identify and communicate issues to the manufacturing manager and engineering personnel. Maintain accurate documentation and records related to assembly, testing, and modifications. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and manufacturing processes. Support other related duties as assigned.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
