Parr Public Safety Equipment is a leading provider of emergency vehicle upfitting solutions for police, fire, utility, and other essential fleets. We're looking for an experienced Automotive Public Safety Vehicle Installer to join our Galloway team. If you have general automotive knowledge, prior vehicle upfitting experience, 12V wiring experience, and are familiar with material fabrication, we'd like to hear from you. This position will primarily focus on smaller upfitting builds.

Responsibilities :

Remove factory-installed interior and exterior vehicle components Install emergency vehicle equipment including light bars, sirens, speakers, push bumpers, partitions, etc. Install cameras, computers, and related equipment Perform 12V electrical wiring and system installations Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace Organize tools and inventory

Qualifications :

Experience with public safety vehicle upfitting Experience with 12V electrical systems (i.e. Whelen products, etc.) Experience with material fabrication Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams Knowledgeable using hand and power tools Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and work in/around vehicles Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and on a team Valid driver's license with a clean driving record High school diploma or GED Compensation and Benefit s: $22.00 - $28.00/hr. based on experience Full-Time/non-exempt Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Paid time off and holidays Ongoing training and career growth opportunities
