Assembly Technician ProCore Power Equipment LLC — New Philadelphia, OH Full-time | $20-$30/hour About the Role Every machine that leaves our lot goes through one person's hands first. That's this job. You'll be uncrating CFMoto side-by-sides and ATVs along with Toro lawn and garden equipment, assembling them to factory spec, and running full pre-delivery inspection before they go to a customer. Done right, the customer never has a reason to think about the person who put their machine together. It's clean work compared to most shop jobs — brand-new equipment in a well-lit assembly area, not crawling under something that's sat in a field for six years. That said, there's oil to fill, fluids to check, and things to torque. Your hands won't stay spotless. What You'll Be Doing Uncrating new units and checking crate contents against the packing list Assembling CFMoto and Toro equipment to factory specs Installing accessories and customer-ordered add-ons Fluids, batteries, tire pressures, torque specs, cable and linkage adjustments Full pre-delivery inspection and PDI documentation Test starting and verifying electrical, lighting, and safety functions Final cleanup/detailing so the unit is customer-ready Flagging damage, missing parts, or quality issues before they reach a customer Odds-and-ends maintenance and general upkeep around the dealership What We're Looking For Attention to detail is the whole job. A missed torque spec or an overlooked fluid check turns into an unhappy customer, and a machine coming back on a trailer. We need someone who checks their own work and doesn't call it done until it actually is. Mechanical aptitude and comfort with hand tools and torque wrenches Ability to read assembly manuals, exploded diagrams, and torque charts Willingness to do it right rather than fast and close enough Willingness to speak up when something isn't right Reliable attendance — assembly is the bottleneck between a sale and a delivery Valid driver's license; able to lift 50+ lbs and stand, bend, and kneel through the shift Powersports, small engine, or automotive experience helps, but we'll train the right person who has the mechanical sense and the temperament for careful work. Compensation and Benefits $20-$30 per hour based on experience One week paid vacation after 12 months Full-time, consistent hours, indoor work Tools and equipment provided About ProCore We're a powersports and outdoor equipment dealership in New Philadelphia, carrying Cfmoto and Toro among other lines.
