Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow computer-generated prompts to track production activity and work order status.
  • Assemble self-aligning tooling, shim tooling, and 4-post tooling according to specifications.
  • Inspect tooling for proper fit, timing, wear, and defects prior to release for production.
  • Complete repair documentation and reports for non-conforming tooling.
  • Maintain tooling readiness to support press room operations and achieve 85% or greater First Run Success rates.
  • Review production routers to determine appropriate press assignments and tooling requirements.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and sharpen tooling as needed.
  • Follow verbal and written work instructions and procedures.
  • Enter and maintain accurate repair and tooling information in computer systems.
  • Consistently perform work in accordance with quality standards and established processes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area through routine housekeeping activities.
  • Follow all safety rules, regulations, and safe work practices.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to assemble, inspect, repair, and maintain manufacturing tooling.
  • Proficiency in using measuring instruments and inspection tools.
  • Basic math skills and ability to perform measurements and calculations.
  • Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Basic computer skills for work order tracking and documentation.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
