Power Steering Assembler Starting Pay:

$15.00/hour — Opportunity to earn up to $20.00/hour Borgeson is looking for dependable, motivated individuals to join our team in our power steering assembly department. Applicants should want to learn multiple jobs, develop their skills, and build a long-term career within our company. This is a hands-on manufacturing position where you will learn to assemble automotive components while developing skills across multiple jobs within our assembly operation, meaning you will not be doing the same job every day. This is a physical labor job that requires lifting of up to 45lbs on a regular basis. Earn More as You Learn We believe employees should be rewarded for what they can do—not simply how long they have been here. New employees start at $15.00 per hour while they learn their initial job. We use a skills and proficiency-based pay system, allowing employees to earn raises as they successfully learn and demonstrate proficiency in additional jobs. The faster you learn, the faster you can earn. Employees can earn up to $5.00 per hour in additional pay, providing the opportunity to reach $20.00 per hour as they develop their skills and become proficient in multiple areas of our operation. Employee progress is tracked through time sheets and training records. Pay increases are based on demonstrated proficiency, quality, reliability, and the ability to successfully perform the job—not simply time spent in the position.
