Job Summary At Tactical, we don't hire electricians—we build them. We're looking for motivated, detail-oriented people who enjoy working with their hands, building things, and learning new skills. No electrical experience is required. Everything we build is custom. Our team manufactures large industrial switchracks, control systems, and engineered equipment used throughout the energy industry. Every project is built from the ground up in our manufacturing facility. This position offers the opportunity to build equipment you'll be proud to stand beside and say, "I built that." Responsibilities As an Industrial Equipment Assembly Technician, you'll work alongside experienced team members to build custom industrial equipment from start to finish.
Responsibilities include:
Assemble large industrial equipment and switchracks according to engineering drawings and work instructions. Install electrical enclosures, brackets, supports, cable trays, conduit, tubing, and other mechanical components. Mount and secure industrial equipment using common hand and power tools. Measure, mark, drill, and install components accurately. Route and organize electrical cable, tubing, and conduit. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Perform quality checks throughout the assembly process. Work closely with supervisors and engineering to continuously improve manufacturing processes. Learn new manufacturing skills through hands-on training and mentoring. What We'll Teach You Previous electrical experience is NOT required.
