Project Scope:

Centrifugal Pump Assembly, Precision Measurement, Alignment, and Quality Control Testing.

Mandatory Licences & Certifications:

Valid Driver's License. The Opportunity You will play a vital hands-on role assembling high-performance centrifugal pumps and rotating assemblies in a specialized manufacturing facility. This role allows you to apply your mechanical expertise while mastering precision clearances, dynamic runout checks, and hydrostatic pressure testing. Working alongside experienced pump specialists, you will help deliver critical industrial pumping solutions to clients nationwide. How You Will Make an Impact Assemble complete ANSI-style centrifugal pumps, self-priming trash pumps, power ends, and rotating assemblies. Inspect shafts, sleeves, bearings, impellers, and mechanical seals prior to final assembly. Verify parts lists against job paperwork, picking lists, and bills of material. Set exact impeller clearances and measure mechanical tolerances using precision tools. Check shaft runout and freedom of rotation using dial indicators and micrometers. Perform pressure testing and alignment of pumps, motors, and couplings. Document all quality control inspections and completed assembly steps according to established standard operating procedures. Required Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 3 years of hands-on centrifugal pump assembly or closely related rotating-equipment experience. Demonstrated ability to use micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, torque wrenches, and precision instruments. Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability with a clear understanding of bearings, shafts, sleeves, and mechanical seals. Ability to perform physical work, including safely lifting up to 50 pounds in a manufacturing environment. Valid driver's license and dependable attendance record. Preferred Qualifications & Experience Direct assembly background with ANSI pumps such as Goulds 3196 or Durco Mark III equivalents. Experience working as an Industrial Millwright, Pump Mechanic, or Rotating-Equipment Rebuild Technician. Background in performing hydrostatic pressure testing and laser alignment on industrial motor-pump sets. Compensation & Benefits Hourly pay rate between $27.00 and $30.00 based on experience, with overtime opportunities available. Potential hiring or retention bonus available for highly qualified candidates.
