This role involves managing machinery setup, routine operation, upkeep, and resolving technical issues, alongside verifying product quality against established standards. You will operate under established protocols and scientific procedures to ensure full compliance with quality requirements. Core Duties Execute a variety of functions related to the creation, production, assembly, testing, and final packaging of medical devices. Manage the setup, operation, and routine maintenance of production equipment to ensure optimal performance. Help maintain high product standards by conducting quality checks directly on the production line. Follow established standard operating procedures and scientific methods to guarantee consistent adherence to quality benchmarks. Required Qualifications A high school diploma or its equivalent is preferred, though not strictly required. Up to one year of prior experience in a manufacturing assembly setting. Strong verbal communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and supervisors. Proficiency in reading, writing, and interpreting English specifications, along with basic mathematical skills. Capability to utilize standard measurement instruments, including microscopes. Reliable attendance and the flexibility to work extended hours as needed. Strong focus on precision and detail to ensure high-quality output. Ability to collaborate effectively and maintain positive relationships within a team setting. Openness to cross-training and rotating through various operational tasks. Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to stand, walk, or sit for long durations throughout the shift. Additionally, you must be capable of lifting or transporting items weighing up to 50 pounds when necessary. Compensation and Schedule Details The hourly rate for this position is $17.50. You will work a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week during the 2nd shift, which runs Monday through Thursday from 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM. Candidates must be available for an in-person interview.
