Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Concrete Plant Manager to oversee our daily manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, managing resources effectively, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong leadership skills, mechanical knowledge, and a solid understanding of operations management to enhance productivity and maintain high-quality standards. Duties Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards. Implement and manage MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to optimize inventory levels and production efficiency. Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles to enhance operational performance. Develop and execute production planning strategies to meet customer demands while minimizing waste. Collaborate with engineering teams to fabricate and assemble components as needed for production. Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify areas for process improvement. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the plant. Train, mentor, and develop staff to foster a high-performance team environment. Experience Proven experience in operations management within a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Demonstrated expertise in process improvement methodologies and lean practices. Experience with production planning and scheduling tools. Familiarity with systems that support manufacturing processes is preferred. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams towards achieving operational goals.
