Office Manager / Manufacturing Operations Coordinator Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Office Manager / Operations Coordinator to oversee daily administrative and operational functions within our manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication, ERP systems, quality assurance, customer communication, and process improvement. This individual will serve as a key link between customers, sales, engineering, and production while leading a small office team and driving operational efficiencies through technology and automation. Office & Operations Management

• Manage day-to-day office operations and workflow.
• Supervise, mentor, and support a team of 3-4 office personnel.
• Coordinate activities between sales, engineering, purchasing, quality, and production teams.
• Assist management with operational planning and continuous improvement initiatives. ERP & Manufacturing Systems
• Maintain and utilize E2 Shoptech ERP software for job tracking, scheduling, inventory control, reporting, and order management.
• Ensure accuracy of production, inventory, and customer data.
• Generate reports and analyze business data.
• Recommend process improvements to maximize ERP effectiveness. Manufacturing & Fabrication Support
• Working knowledge of metal fabrication processes including laser cutting, CNC machining, welding, forming, stamping, and assembly.
• Review customer drawings and manufacturing requirements.
• Have a basic understanding of CAD drawings and blueprint interpretation.
• Support quoting, project coordination, and production planning. Quality Assurance & Customer Support
• Maintain an understanding of quality assurance principles and manufacturing quality standards.
• Assist with customer quality concerns, corrective actions, and documentation requests.
• Communicate with customers as needed regarding orders, schedules, deliveries, and project inquiries.
• Help maintain positive customer relationships through professional communication. Process Improvement & Automation
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce administrative workload.
• Utilize AI tools and automation technologies to streamline office and operational processes.
• Develop automated workflows for reporting, customer communications, and administrative tasks. Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing office management, operations coordination, or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of metal fabrication and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with E2 Shoptech or similar ERP software.
• Experience managing and leading a team of 3-4 employees.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
• Understanding of quality assurance processes and manufacturing quality standards.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with quoting, scheduling, and customer service in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic understanding of CAD drawings and blueprint interpretation.
• Experience implementing AI tools and workflow automation.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.

Pay:

$31.00 - $50.00 per hour
