Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing operations with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire plant's production processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are consistently met. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimize production scheduling, and foster a culture of excellence across all manufacturing activities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape operational success while managing cross-functional teams and implementing innovative manufacturing management systems. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate all plant operations, including production management, quality control, and supply chain activities, to meet organizational goals. Develop and execute production planning strategies utilizing ERP systems such as SAP and MRP to ensure timely delivery of products. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and process improvement techniques to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Manage production scheduling to align with demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and inventory targets while maintaining optimal resource utilization. Oversee manufacturing management systems to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze data in Excel for insights, and implement corrective actions as needed. Foster a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork by providing strong team leadership, cross-functional communication, and staff development programs. Collaborate with supply chain management teams to optimize logistics, inventory levels, and procurement processes for seamless operations. Skills Extensive experience in production management within a manufacturing environment with a focus on process optimization. Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms; strong knowledge of MRP systems for inventory control. Expertise in Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma certification preferred, with proven ability to lead process improvement projects. Strong analytical skills using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting; familiarity with supply chain analytics is a plus. Excellent leadership capabilities with a focus on team development, cross-functional collaboration, and effective communication skills. Deep understanding of manufacturing management systems, production scheduling techniques, and quality control standards. Ability to implement lean management practices that enhance operational efficiency while maintaining safety compliance.
