Onsite 6 months Contract Position Job Summary We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Tooling / Manufacturing Coordinator to support stamping and die construction activities for an automotive manufacturing program. This is an entry-level opportunity focused on tooling coordination, supplier tracking, data management, and program timing . The ideal candidate will have excellent Excel skills , strong organizational abilities, good communication skills, and an understanding of manufacturing, tooling, stamping, or die-making processes. Key Responsibilities Review tooling and process information to support first-time dimensional quality. Review die designs and 3D processes for compliance with applicable standards. Monitor die and tooling manufacturing activities to support program timing and milestones. Coordinate and track 3D machining and die construction activities. Review tooling components and construction documentation. Monitor supplier progress and follow up on timing, deliverables, and commitments. Track approved engineering changes and their impact on tooling activities. Attend supplier meetings and communicate project updates. Review tooling schedules, designs, and progress. Classify parts based on stamping process type. Manage and maintain simulation and tooling reports. Maintain and update stamping parts tracking files. Organize and manage large amounts of supplier and program data. Prepare reports, tables, charts, and graphs using Microsoft Excel. Support day-to-day problem solving and coordination with suppliers and internal teams. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field . Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel — this is a critical requirement. Ability to work with large and complex Excel files, including sorting, organizing, analyzing, and tracking data. Ability to create detailed tables, charts, and graphs in Excel. Strong Microsoft Word and PowerPoint skills. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively with suppliers/vendors and follow up on commitments. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing, tooling, stamping, supplier coordination, project coordination, or a related environment. Understanding of die-making, stamping processes, tooling technologies, or automotive manufacturing . Experience tracking supplier schedules, milestones, deliverables, or program timing. Experience working with engineering, manufacturing, or supplier documentation. What We're Looking For This is an entry-level position , and candidates do not need to be experienced die designers or tooling engineers. The strongest candidates will be highly proficient in Excel, extremely organized, comfortable managing large amounts of data, and confident communicating with multiple suppliers . No certifications or forklift/driver certifications are required.
Pay:
$40.00
