Overview The Production Manager is responsible for the operational performance, acting as the senior on-site production leader and standing in for the Plant Manager's leadership, coaching, and decision-making authority during hours the Plant Manager is not present. This role bridges shift-level execution with plant-wide objectives — directly developing and holding accountable the Production Supervisor(s) on shift, managing production, quality, safety, and labor cost performance in real time, and serving as the primary escalation point for off-shift operational issues, including 3rd shift, to ensure consistent management-level coverage across all hours of plant operation.
