We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant Plant Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting plant operations, ensuring efficiency, and contributing to the overall success of our facility. This position requires a hands-on approach, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with various teams to meet production goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the Plant Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, including production schedules, resource allocation, and workflow management
Implement and maintain standardized operating procedures to optimize efficiency
Supervise and motivate production staff to achieve performance goals
Work closely with the safety team to enforce and promote a strong safety culture
Conduct regular safety meetings, inspections, and drills to ensure a safe working environment
Ensure all products meet or exceed quality and customer standards
Participate in regular quality inspections and address any issues promptly
Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient supply chain operations
Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost-saving initiatives
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment

Qualifications/Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred
Proven experience in supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and quality standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a focus on continuous improvement
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a desirable skill in this position.

Full-time Pay:
$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
