Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant Plant Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting plant operations, ensuring efficiency, and contributing to the overall success of our facility. This position requires a hands-on approach, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with various teams to meet production goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Plant Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, including production schedules, resource allocation, and workflow management
- Implement and maintain standardized operating procedures to optimize efficiency
- Supervise and motivate production staff to achieve performance goals
- Work closely with the safety team to enforce and promote a strong safety culture
- Conduct regular safety meetings, inspections, and drills to ensure a safe working environment
- Ensure all products meet or exceed quality and customer standards
- Participate in regular quality inspections and address any issues promptly
- Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient supply chain operations
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost-saving initiatives
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment

Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred
- Proven experience in supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and quality standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a focus on continuous improvement
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a desirable skill in this position.
