Job Description

Job Summary

Develops and maintains manufacturing plans, work instructions, and Bill of Materials to define product configuration and support production requirements. Integrates processes, tooling, and supplier inputs to ensure manufacturability, compliance, and delivery objectives are met.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen Education & Job Requirements
  
• Associate's degree and 3 or more years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  
• Experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, and work instructions
  
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Preferred Skills
  
• Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers
  
• Experience with 3D model-based instruction
  
• Experience with any of the following: Siemens NX, IVT, CREO, CATIA, MES, Gold, PrimeR, Aurora, VisVSA, DELMIA,
  
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems common image (MESci)
  
• Experience reviewing and approving other engineers' work (installation plans, tool orders, line stock checks, etc.) Job Duties & Functions
  
• Develops, implements, and maintains manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration
  
• Establishes manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives
  
• Integrates suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements
  
• Reviews and approves supplier data to ensure manufacturing-related requirements are met
  
• Develops tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements and manages tools from design through disposition
  
• Investigates and resolves manufacturing-related issues and performs producibility assessments for part or product designs
  
• Provides producibility input to design, manufacturing processes, and technologies to meet cost and schedule requirements
  
• Develops integrated work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments
  
• Drafts, updates, and reviews processes and procedures to support business and regulatory requirements
  
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to support MESci manufacturing planning rewrite and implement standard manufacturing plans TeamGlobal Benefits
