Responsibilities Oversee daily production activities on the 2nd shift, ensuring all operations adhere to safety, quality, and efficiency standards. Lead, motivate, and develop production teams by providing clear direction, feedback, and support to foster a high-performance culture. Implement lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to identify areas for process improvement and waste reduction. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as supply chain management, quality control, and maintenance to streamline operations. Utilize Excel data analysis and supply chain analytics to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with manufacturing management systems and safety regulations while promoting a culture of safety awareness. Skills Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment. Expertise in lean manufacturing, and process improvement strategies such as Six Sigma or lean management preferred. Excellent team leadership skills with the ability to motivate diverse groups of employees across shifts. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes. Effective cross-functional communication skills to coordinate with supply chain, quality assurance, and operations teams. Familiarity with quality control procedures and supply chain management practices to ensure seamless production flow.
