Our state-of-the-art facility combines advanced automation, Revit-based digital design, data, and offsite manufacturing to help high-volume homebuilders build faster, improve quality, reduce waste, and address skilled labor challenges. This leader will own overall plant performance across safety, people, quality, production, cost, and continuous improvement, while developing a high-performing team and maximizing the capabilities of our technology and automated equipment. This is an exciting opportunity for a data-driven, hands-on manufacturing leader who wants to improve an operation, drive results, and help shape the future of offsite construction.
What You'll Do:
Lead overall plant performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and people Build, coach, and develop a high-performing production leadership team Drive production planning, scheduling, capacity, workflow, and on-time delivery Maximize the capabilities and utilization of our advanced automated manufacturing equipment Use production data and KPIs to improve throughput, labor efficiency, material utilization, quality, yield, scrap, and downtime Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and capacity Oversee quality, maintenance, equipment reliability, inventory, and workforce planning Manage plant expenses and performance against budget and operating goals Identify opportunities for capital investment, technology, and process improvement Partner across design, engineering, operations, delivery, and field teams to improve the entire value stream Build a strong culture of safety, ownership, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
What We're Looking For:
We're looking for an accomplished manufacturing leader—not necessarily someone who has spent their entire career in wall panel manufacturing. 5+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, including responsibility for production teams and operational performance Proven success leading and developing production supervisors and frontline teams Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, capacity, labor, materials, quality, inventory, and maintenance Experience in an automated or technology-enabled manufacturing environment Proven ability to use data, KPIs, and financial information to drive operational improvement Track record of improving productivity, throughput, quality, labor efficiency, yield, scrap, downtime, and/or on-time delivery Experience managing budgets, operating expenses, and cost controls Strong safety leadership and understanding of manufacturing compliance Demonstrated success with continuous improvement and process improvement Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and people-leadership skills A willingness to be a visible, hands-on leader on the manufacturing floor Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Business, or a related field preferred. Equivalent progressive manufacturing leadership experience will also be considered. Experience with wall panels, trusses, structural components, building products, engineered wood, offsite/prefabricated construction, residential construction, or other highly automated manufacturing environments is a plus, but not required. Why True House? At True House, we believe there is a better way to build. We bring together design, engineering, technology, manufacturing, and construction expertise to help homebuilders reduce waste, improve quality, increase speed, and control costs. Our Sanford operation supports high-volume single-family, multifamily, and build-to-rent construction in one of the country's strongest residential growth markets. For the right manufacturing leader, this is an opportunity to apply sophisticated manufacturing principles and technology to an industry that is ready for transformation. We want a leader who looks at automation and asks how we can get more from it. Who looks at data and asks what it's telling us. Who sees a bottleneck and wants to solve it. Who develops people instead of simply managing them. And who takes ownership of results. If you want the opportunity to lead an advanced manufacturing operation, build a great team, drive meaningful improvement, and help change the way homes are built, we'd like to meet you. Join True House NC and help us build the future of homebuilding.
