Full Job Description Manufacturing Operations Manager Salary:
$120,000-$160,000 + Performance Bonus About WesBell Electronics WesBell Electronics is a growing contract manufacturer specializing in custom cable assemblies, wire harnesses, and medical assemblies. We've recently expanded our facility, completed an acquisition, and continue to invest in growth through operational excellence, customer service, and strategic acquisitions. We're seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager who enjoys improving systems, developing people, and creating a highly organized manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on leadership position. We are looking for someone who wants to build something, not simply maintain an existing system. Primary ResponsibilitiesManufacturing Leadership Lead day-to-day production operations. Develop production scheduling and capacity planning. Improve on-time delivery. Increase manufacturing efficiency and throughput. Reduce waste and bottlenecks. Balance labor across departments. Lean Manufacturing Lead continuous improvement initiatives. Implement Lean Manufacturing principles throughout the company. Perform workflow analysis. Improve production layouts. Standardize work instructions. Develop measurable KPIs for production. Drive a culture of continuous improvement.

Quality Management Maintain and improve the
ISO 9001
Quality Management System. Ensure documentation remains current. Manage internal audits. Support external certification audits. Improve document control. Maintain employee training records and competency matrices. Drive corrective and preventive action programs. Leadership Supervise production employees and supervisors. Recruit, interview, hire, and develop manufacturing employees. Conduct performance evaluations. Coach underperforming employees. Lead disciplinary actions when necessary. Build accountability while maintaining a positive culture. Operational Systems Improve ERP utilization. Develop production dashboards. Track labor efficiency. Analyze production costs. Improve inventory accuracy. Develop standardized operating procedures.
Cross-Department Collaboration Work closely with:
Sales Purchasing Engineering Customer Service Ownership to ensure customer commitments are achieved while continuously improving profitability.
Qualifications Required :
7+ years manufacturing leadership experience Experience managing production teams Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing Experience with
ISO 9001
Experience hiring, coaching and developing employees Excellent communication skills Strong computer and ERP skills Ability to analyze manufacturing metrics and financial performance
Preferred :
Lean Green Belt certification Lean Black Belt certification Six Sigma experience APICS or similar operations certification Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field Experience in electronics manufacturing, cable assembly, or contract manufacturing What Success Looks Like Within the first 12-24 months, this individual will: Reduce operational bottlenecks.
