The Production Manager oversees machining, assembly, testing, planning, and site operations, ensuring strong performance, successful execution of strategic investments, and exceptional customer outcomes in a complex engineered-to-order environment.. Manufacturing Operations Leadership:
Develop and execute the manufacturing strategy across machining, assembly, testing, planning, order management, and facilities to support growth, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. Foster a high-performance culture focused on safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
High Bay & Machining Capability Activation:
Lead the successful ramp-up of facility expansion and machining operations by building the people, processes, and quality systems needed for sustainable growth. Enhance machining capabilities and insourcing initiatives to improve cost, quality, and delivery performance.
Manufacturing Operations & Engineering Partnership:
Partner with Engineering to develop scalable manufacturing solutions that support customer requirements, operational performance, and business growth. Drive execution through standardized processes, operational discipline, and continuous improvement.
Planning, Scheduling, & Order Center:
Lead production planning, scheduling, and order-to-shipment execution to ensure clear priorities, production readiness, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction. Ensure compliance with safety standards and drive corrective actions, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Performance Management & Continous Improvement:
Drive improvements in on-time delivery, schedule adherence, cost, productivity, quality, and safety through data-driven performance management and operational metrics. Advance Lean manufacturing practices through root-cause analysis, corrective actions, standard work, 5S, Kaizen, and waste reduction initiatives.
Leadership & Team Development:
Lead, coach, and develop supervisors, engineers, planners, team leads, and operations personnel while establishing clear performance expectations and accountability. Build a high-performing organization through employee engagement, succession planning, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Cross-Functional Collabortion:
Work closely with cross-functional teams to align materials, operations, and resources with customer and business needs, while supporting benchmarking, continuous improvement, facility projects, and organizational development. You have at least 10 years of manufacturing operations leadership in a precision or engineered-to-order environment. You hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or have equivalent combination of education and experience. Proven leadership of CNC machining operations, including turning, milling, and mill-turn processes Experience leading manufacturing engineering, planning/scheduling, and facilities functions. Demonstrated success improving safety, delivery, productivity, quality, and cost performance. Strong Lean manufacturing expertise, including 5S, Kaizen, standard work, and root-cause analysis. Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and manufacturing safety compliance. Experience in rotating machinery, capital equipment, or complex manufacturing environments preferred. Comprehensive compensation and benefits:
Base salary ranges from $158,770 to $218,200 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Annual bonus structure.
