Technical Director SMC Technologies Midwest City, OK Job Details Full-time $47,840 a year 17 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Retirement plan Qualifications Sales support Process audits Statistical Process Control Technical support Training & development Full Job Description Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Technical Director to lead product quality, technical operations, and regulatory compliance within a chemical manufacturing environment. This role oversees service requirements and manufacturing operations as they relate to product quality, leads product development and sustainment initiatives. The Technical Director also supports customer-facing teams and delivers technical and safety training across the business. Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise service requirements and manufacturing operations that affect product quality.
  • Lead product development, product design, and product sustainment activities.
  • Establish and maintain statistical process control practices.
  • Provide backup technical support for customer sales and service activities.
  • Oversee the control and disposition of nonconforming products.
  • Develop and conduct training on product sales, product testing, chemical handling, and workplace safety.
  • Support compliance with applicable FDA, USDA, EPA, OSHA, and NSF requirements. Qualifications
  • Demonstrated knowledge of quality systems and manufacturing operations in a chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supporting product development, design, sustainment, and statistical process control.
  • Knowledge of government and industry requirements applicable to chemical manufacturing, including FDA, USDA, EPA, OSHA, and NSF requirements.
  • Ability to deliver clear technical, product, chemical-handling, and safety training.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with manufacturing, quality, sales, service, and customer-facing teams.
