Job Description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager for a direct hire opportunity with a Leading Manufacturing Company located in Hondo, TX.

Compensation:

$75,000 - $130,000 per year, W2, based on qualifications

Position Overview:

This role is responsible for planning, organizing, leading, and controlling an area of operation within a designated manufacturing facility. The focus will be on key performance measures including Safety, Quality, Schedule Attainment, Delivery, Productivity, and Budget to achieve operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Manages assigned manufacturing plant's equipment and associate capacity planning to determine and execute the production plan schedule

Manages the evaluation of ideal plant layout to enhance safety and efficiency

Evaluates the hiring, performance management, training, and staffing of assigned manufacturing plant positions

Deploys new and updated work guidelines and instructions

Manages the maintenance of the manufacturing plant's skills matrix, plans needed skills requirements, and deploys the training rotation schedule

Ensures the execution of Environmental, Health and Safety procedures within the assigned area

Monitors Key Performance Indicators, Payroll Budget, Inventory Control and Safety statistics and collaborates with the Plant Manager to implement corrective actions

Participates in thepany's Quality Management System (QMS) program

Supports the Product Launch and Manufacturing Support departments in the deployment of new items, technologies or processes

Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership and urgency while managing multiple priorities

Primary Requirements:

Associate's Degree; or equivalentbination of education and/or experience

3+ years progressive manufacturing, management or relevant technical experience

Supervisory experience

Intermediate critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Experience demonstrating leadership andmunication skills

Desired Skills:

Project Management experience
