A food manufacturing company is seeking a Bilingual English/Japanese Production Supervisor to join their team in Irvine, CA. This position is responsible for the running of day-to-day production lines and quality of output. An associate's degree, 3 years of supervisory experience, knowledge of SQF systems, OSHA safety and the ability to speak/read/write Japanese is required. This is a full-time, in-person, non-exempt position with excellent benefits including 401K.

Bilingual English/Japanese Production Supervisor Duties:

• Review and report sales, costs, and profits
• Negotiate with construction companies, machinery & equipment manufacturers, and parts suppliers
• Plan an annual budget if requested by the management
• Negotiate prices and solve any problems with ingredient suppliers
• Prepare production schedule by planning production priorities and workflow based on customer orders
• Ensure all equipment, materials, and supplies are available to carry out production process
• Strive to reduce expenses and production loss and establish workflow that enhances speed and efficiency
• Work with R D to improve product quality by reviewing recipe, production process, ingredients, machine operations
• Monitor production process with QA/QC Department
• Prepare for food safety audits including SQF, FDA, and OSHA audit along with QA/QC Department
• Review all production documents including Production Report
• Monitor employees' work hours, overtime, and rest/meal breaks
• Calculate product standard costs and selling prices for new products
• Monitor inventory adjustments for any frauds and errors

Bilingual English/Japanese Production Supervisor Skills:

• Must have an associate's degree
• Ability to speak, read and write Japanese
• Must have at least 3 years of supervisory experience
